Riverwoods Homes’ Third Annual Winter Holidays Night of Luminaries is set for Sunday December 21, 2008

We encourage all Riverwoods families to participate in the 3rd Annual Winter Holidays Night of Luminaries. Just show up outside your home at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 21st, to help your area representative place luminaries on the curbs. After, you can enjoy the view throughout the neighborhood.

Here is what we have planned:

  • Set up luminaries on the curb in your area between 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21
  • A group of carolers headed by Mary Anne and Leo Clark will stroll through the neighbor hood between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. If you wish to participate, you may join them at their home, 12007 Red Oak Court North at 6:00 p.m., or catch up with them anywhere in the neighborhood.
  • We will meet at approximately 7:00 p.m. in the Commons Area for hot cider and holiday cheer!
  • After the candles burn out, either later that evening or the next day, help picking up the remaining items for disposal would be appreciated.

If you have any questions please contact your area representative. Enjoy the holiday season!!!

AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

  • Free - A security alarm system that you probably already have and requires no installation. Put your car keys beside your bed at night. If you hear a noise outside your home or someone trying to get into your house, just press the panic button for your car. The alarm will be set off, and the horn will continue to sound until you either reset it with the button on the key fob chain or the car battery dies. Test it. It will go off from most everywhere inside your house!
  • The Burnsville Police can be reached for non-emergency calls at 952-895-4600; all emergencies use 911.
